Comparison of two non-specific flow-through sequential extraction approaches to identify the physico-chemical partitioning of potentially harmful elements in a certified reference material

چکیده

Two non-specific sequential extraction methods utilising chemometric data processing (chemometric identification of substrates and element distribution, CISED) have been developed used to determine the physico-chemical partitioning potentially harmful elements (PHE) in certified reference material BCR CRM 701 (lake sediment). A miniaturized centrifugation method which sample was extracted on a filter insert polypropylene centrifuging tube, quasi-flow through supported TX40 47 mm in-line polycarbonate holder, gave similar results. The CISED identified nine components. Seven these were geochemical origin – two carbonate components, an Al/Fe oxide/hydroxide component, three Fe-dominated components one Si-dominated component while others represented blank. overall capabilities that well-established (?steps 1–3). However, whilst is operationally defined, provides information associations between PHE identified. flow procedure has potential applications investigating chemical speciation associated with urban airborne particular matter.
